Mahant 1008 Shri Narresh Purri Ji Maharaj
The most revered Mahant Dr. Naresh Puri Ji, after taking Guru Diksha from Late Mahant 1008 Shri Kishore Puri Ji Maharaj, served Shri Balaji Maharaj Ji for the last 4 decades under the guidance of his most revered Gurudev and continuously participated in other public welfare works with full service spirit and dedication.
Mahant 1008 Shri Kishore Puri, on the occasion of Maharaj Bramhlin Ji’s, which is dedicated to the welfare of the people. His Holiness Mahant Shri 1008 Dr. Nareshpuri Ji Maharaj, was formally appointed as the President of Shri Balaji Maharaj Trust on 21 August 2021. Mahant Shri Maharaj, with the blessings and inspiration of Shri Balaji Maharaj, does numerous welfare works like service, education, medicine, social upliftment and the welfare of the region. He is continuosly undertaking various development works for overall development.
Special Achievements
Bharat Gaurav Samman, Sant Shiromani decoration, honorary doctorate degree received by Maharaj Shri for his unprecedented service work is also a small proof of your public welfare work. Balaji devotees felt proud when Maharaj Shri hoisted the flag of Mehandipur Balaji in the British Parliament and there, a collective Hanuman Chalisa recitation was done under the leadership of Maharaj Shri. For this, the name of Mehandipur Balaji Dham has been registered on the world stage in the World Book and Oxford Book of Records. You have also been honored with an honorary doctorate degree in the University of Technology in Jaipur by the then Education Minister of Rajasthan.

Bramhalin Mahant 1008 Shri Kishore Puri Ji Maharaj
In 1965, late Mahant 1008 Shri Ganesh Puri Ji Maharaj handed over the responsibility of the temple’s management and administration to Mahant 1008 Shri Kishor Puri Ji. Kishor Puri Ji Maharaj was a great scholar of religion, philosophy and spirituality and was well versed in Vedas and Puranas and was a man of many talents.
Kishor Puri Ji Maharaj believed that everyone must educate their daughters. Maharaj Ji established schools and colleges for girls in rural areas to encourage women’s education. Along with this, to connect girls and their families with these efforts, he also provided completely free hostels, food, uniforms and books etc.
This broad thinking and holistic effort of Maharaj Ji brought very good results. This gave the girls of this area the complete opportunity and environment to move forward and develop their abilities and progress.
Maharaj ji has made special contributions to human welfare, especially the welfare of girls and women, education and health services, and cultural development.
Venerable Mahant Shri Kishore Puri Ji Maharaj had declared his disciple Shri Naresh Puri Ji as his successor during his lifetime.
Bramhlin Mahant 1008 Shri Ganesh Puri Ji Maharaj
Brahmalin Mahant 1008 Shri Ganesh Puri Ji was an ascetic, a Siddha Purush and a great saint. Located in a hilly region and a forest area full of wild animals, this temple was being continuously worshipped by generations of the Mahant family since ancient times. But Shri Ganesh Puri Ji, with his farsighted thinking, laid the foundation for the reconstruction of the temple, keeping in mind the needs of the future and the convenience of the devotees. Since then, the development and expansion of Shri Balaji Temple has been carried out from time to time.
Maharaj Ji’s love for his devotees was also amazing. When no one thought or expected anything about facilities, even then keeping in mind the convenience of the devotees, he laid great emphasis on the development of their routes and public and social facilities and started their construction.
Maharaj Ji started a Sanskrit school with the help of the temple. Through this school many Vedic scholars of Sanskrit were prepared and they provided their services in various fields. This step of Maharaj Ji proved to be a milestone and today many educational institutions have been established.
Apart from many such social and religious works, Shri Ganesh Puri Ji Maharaj himself took great care of mute animals. He made this service a part of the temple system. For this, he arranged for food for animals, ant feed, peacock feed etc.
In the year 1965, Late Mahant 1008 Shri Ganesh Puri Ji Maharaj handed over the responsibility of the management and administration of the temple to Mahant 1008 Shri Kishorpuri Ji.
