Shri Parthiveshwar Shiv Poojan

The 25-day long Parthiveshwar Chintamani Mahaprayog ritual organised at the Mehandipur Balaji Temple and Shiv Ki Pauri Haridwar under the patronage of Ghata Mehandipur Siddha Peeth Peethadhipati Dr. Nareshpuri Maharaj concluded with a huge feast on Tuesday 2 September 24, in which devotees including many saints and mahants from all over the country including Jaipur arrived.

Aawahan Panch Dashnam Akhara chief Swami Arun Giri Maharaj, Akhara Parishad president Mahant Ravindra Puri, Triveni Dham’s Ram Richpal Das Maharaj, Saint Society president Siyaram Das Maharaj, United Indian Dharma Sansad national president Acharya Rajeshwar, Uttarakhand’s former chief minister Ramesh Pokhriyal, Uttarakhand’s state campaigner Dr. Shailendra Singh, state home minister Jawahar Singh Bedam, VHP’s Uma Shankar, former cabinet minister Mrs. Mamta Bhupesh, IAS Ghanshyam Bairwa, Rajya Sabha MP Ghanshyam Tiwari, Rajasthan’s former governor Kalraj Mishra, Panipat MP Satpal Brahmachari, Pt. Suresh Mishra etc. worshipped the earthen Shivling.

In this event, three lakh fifty one thousand earthen Shivlingas were made and worshipped, and two hundred fifty one Brahmins recited five lakh fifty one thousand Mahamrityunjaya mantras, fifty one thousand Vishnu Sahasranaam Paath, one hundred and eight Shrimad Bhagwat and Ramcharitra Manas. At the end of the ritual, prasad was distributed to 2500 Mahamandaleshwars, Shri Mahants and sadhus from Shad Darshan Sadhu Samaj and 13 Akharas.
