Maha Ashtami Puja

On the auspicious occasion of Maha Ashtami, a grand worship ceremony and religious rituals were organized at Shri Mehandipur Balaji Dham. This day holds special significance as it is dedicated to the worship of Goddess Durga. Devotees gathered in large numbers from early morning to offer their prayers with deep devotion. The temple was beautifully decorated with flowers and lights, creating a divine atmosphere.

Special rituals were performed by priests while chanting sacred Vedic mantras. One of the main highlights of Maha Ashtami is the Kanya Pujan, where nine young girls are worshipped and offered food and gifts. At the Balaji temple, this tradition was observed with great reverence.

Devotees also offered prayers to Balaji Maharaj, Bhairav Baba, and Pret Raj Sarkar. A grand community feast (bhandara) was organized, where thousands of devotees received sacred prasad.

This divine celebration brought a wave of spiritual energy and positivity across the region. The Maha Ashtami Puja strengthened the faith of devotees and reminded them of the power of devotion and righteousness.
